STATEMENT OF FAITH
- We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
- We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
- We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
- We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
- We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
- We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
OUR PURPOSE
Our comprehensive purpose is to honor our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by carrying out His command to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19,20). Specifically, we believe God has called us to focus on reaching those in the Montbello and Green Valley communities and the surrounding areas that are unsaved, and those who do not regularly attend church. In order to accomplish this, True Light Baptist Church will be an equipping center where every Christian can be developed to their full potential for ministry. This development will come through:
- Creative and inspiring worship
- Teaching that is biblical and relevant to life
- Vital and supportive fellowship
- Opportunities for outreach into the community in service and evangelism

To be a Spirit-led church living by faith and committed to evangelism where we can all grow in God’s Word being filled with the Spirit and sharing our own God-given gifts through involvement in the life of the Body of Christ.
OUR VISION STATEMENT
- To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all through the power of the Holy Spirit,
- To worship through the Word, prayer, music, and stewardship so all might be drawn closer to God and each other through love;
- To strengthen our lives that we may teach and disciple others as Jesus taught His disciples;
- To support the work of missions,
- To minister to the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of our church family and our community,
- And to unite our hearts in fellowship with other Christians that we might be encouraged to reach the lost that they might be saved.
