Aging While Black Navigator Training

A Peer Navigator is a trusted neighbor who helps connect older adults to the support and resources they need to live well. This role is rooted in community, care, and relationship-building.

What You’ll Do

  • Build relationships with older adults in your community
  • Listen closely to what people need and help them think through next steps
  • Share information about local resources like housing, healthcare, food, and transportation
  • Connect people to the right services and supports
  • Keep simple records of who you’ve talked to and what they need

Compensation
Peer Navigators will receive up to a $1,000 stipend.

There will be a sign-up sheet at the Pastor’s table on Sunday.
