Pastor Golson’s Mission Trip to Thailand 2009

Our mission trip to Thailand was for the purpose of bringing new life to an Akha village, Huai Nam Khun, through the gift of clean water! In the past, the only solution was to collect rainwater in cisterns, a very limited solution as there are five months of almost no rain from November through April.

Nassau Mission Trip 2008

In 2008, True Light Baptist Church sponsored its first ever Short Term Mission Trip to Nassau, Bahamas.

A team of six ladies departed on Saturday morning, July 26, 2008, on a mission to Nassau to teach Vacation Bible School at Emmaus Baptist Church.

This mission allowed the team to see and be amazed by how God transcends all cultural and language barriers to allow those who know Him, to experience Him in any setting.

More than 60 children participated in the week-long VBS. Three youth from Emmaus worked with the True Light team as helpers.
